The short version: Block Sculpture: 3D Puzzle is a single-player puzzle game that runs offline. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no social features and no user-generated content. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera. Your game progress is stored only on your device and is never uploaded. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics and standard advertising data — and both run only after you agree to them. The default is off.

1. Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SON PHI ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer of Block Sculpture: 3D Puzzle (the "Game"), processes information when you download, install and play the Game, and when you visit our website at block-sculpture-3d-landing-page.vercel.app.

The Game is distributed on iOS through the Apple App Store. An Android release on Google Play is planned; when it ships, the Google Play billing and advertising equivalents described below will apply in the same way, and we will update this policy before that version is published.

We are the data controller for the processing described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not install or use the Game.

2. What We Process

2.1 Game progress — stored on your device only

Completed levels, star ratings, coin balance, unlocked sculptures and dioramas, unlocked Studio items (block materials, pedestals, guide colours), daily check-in streaks, and your settings are written to the Game's private storage area on your device.

This data is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is no cloud save, no Game Center integration and no Google Play Games integration in the Game. Deleting the Game deletes this data permanently, and it cannot be restored or transferred to another device.

2.2 Anonymous usage analytics — only if you consent

The first time you open the Game we ask whether you agree to send anonymous usage statistics. If — and only if — you choose Agree, the Game sends the following events to Google Firebase Analytics:

Event What it contains
Level startedLevel number and world name
Level finishedLevel number, completed or abandoned, stars earned
Hint usedLevel number and in-game coins spent
Undo / misplaced pieceLevel number
Session lengthDuration in seconds

Alongside these events, Firebase automatically collects a limited set of technical information: a Firebase-generated app instance identifier (a random ID created for this app installation — not your device ID, not an advertising ID), device model, operating system version, app version, language, and the country inferred from your IP address.

We use these statistics for one purpose only: to find out which levels are too hard or too easy so we can tune difficulty. We do not use them to identify you, we do not use them for targeted advertising, and we do not sell or share them with any third party other than Google acting as our data processor.

2.3 Advertising

The Game shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob in two places: rewarded video ads that you choose to watch in exchange for extra coins or hints, and interstitial ads that may appear between levels (currently at most once every four completed levels). Ads never appear while you are solving a puzzle.

Before any ad is requested, Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow runs and, where your region requires it, asks for your advertising choices. In the current release the Game is configured to request non-personalised / limited ads: it does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not access the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or the Google Advertising ID (GAID) for cross-app tracking. To deliver and measure an ad, and to prevent ad fraud, Google still receives standard technical data such as IP address, device type, operating system, coarse (country-level) location and the ad interactions themselves. See Google's policy in the table in section 4.

If we later enable personalised advertising or tracking, we will update this policy and ask for your permission in the app first.

2.4 In-app purchases

The Game offers optional purchases (a "Remove Ads" unlock, a Starter Pack, and coin packs). All payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive, process or store your card number, bank details, billing address or Apple ID. What we receive from the platform is the outcome of a transaction — whether a product was purchased or restored — which the Game stores locally to unlock what you bought.

2.5 Local diagnostic log

The Game writes a copy of the events listed in 2.2 to a file inside its own private storage for debugging purposes. This file is never transmitted anywhere and is deleted when you uninstall the Game.

2.6 What we never collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, postal address or any account credentials — the Game has no accounts and no login.
  • Contacts, calendar, photos, files, microphone or camera access.
  • Precise (GPS) location. Ad and analytics providers infer only your country from your IP address.
  • Any content you create, messages or social profiles — the Game has no chat, no leaderboards and no user-generated content.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Running the game: saving and restoring your progress locally, unlocking dioramas and Studio items you have earned or purchased.
  • Improving difficulty: understanding, in aggregate, which levels players get stuck on (analytics, with consent).
  • Stability: spotting levels where sessions end abruptly, so we can look for the bug ourselves. The Game contains no crash-reporting SDK — no stack traces are sent anywhere.
  • Advertising: delivering, capping and measuring the rewarded and interstitial ads described in section 2.3.
  • Purchases: unlocking and restoring the products you bought through the App Store.
  • Support: answering you if you email us — in which case we process the email address and whatever you put in the message, and keep it only as long as needed to resolve your request.

4. Third-Party Services

The Game integrates the following third-party services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Service Purpose Data involved Privacy Policy
Google Firebase Analytics Anonymous gameplay statistics (only with your consent) App instance ID, device model, OS and app version, language, country from IP, the events in section 2.2 firebase.google.com/support/privacy
Google AdMob (with User Messaging Platform) Rewarded and interstitial ads; consent collection IP address, device and OS type, coarse location, ad interactions, consent choices policies.google.com/privacy
Apple App Store / StoreKit App distribution and in-app purchases Payment and receipt data, handled by Apple — not shared with us apple.com/legal/privacy

The Game contains no social network SDKs, no attribution or user-acquisition SDKs, and no cross-app tracking SDKs beyond what is described above.

5. Your Choices & Consent Controls

  • Decline analytics: choose No thanks on the consent screen shown at first launch. The Game works exactly the same — no feature is locked behind consent.
  • Change your mind at any time: open Settings → Send anonymous statistics in the Game. Turning it off stops collection immediately at the SDK level, including Firebase's automatic events.
  • Advertising choices: where the UMP consent form is available in your region, you can reopen it from Settings to change your advertising choices.
  • Remove ads entirely: the optional "Remove Ads" purchase stops all advertising in the Game.
  • Device-level ad controls: on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. On Android (when released), Settings → Google → Ads.
  • Delete everything: uninstalling the Game removes all local data, including your progress and the diagnostic log.

6. Children's Privacy

Block Sculpture: 3D Puzzle is a general-audience game intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not designed for, marketed to, or directed at children, and it does not participate in the Apple Kids Category or the Google Play "Designed for Families" programme.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in the EU/EEA, which is between 13 and 16 depending on the country). The Game asks for no age, no name and no account, and contains no free-text input, so we have no actual knowledge of a user's age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, contact us at pvsasoftware@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA)

7.1 Legal bases (EU/EEA and UK)

ProcessingLegal basis
Local game progress on your deviceNot processed by us — the data never reaches us
Usage analytics (section 2.2)Consent — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); withdrawable at any time
Advertising (section 2.3)Consent collected through the UMP flow where required; otherwise legitimate interests in funding a free game
In-app purchasesPerformance of a contract — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b), carried out by Apple
Support emailLegitimate interest in answering your request

7.2 Your rights

  • Access: ask what we process about you and receive a copy.
  • Rectification and erasure: ask us to correct or delete data. For analytics already sent to Firebase, contact us and provide your app instance identifier if you can retrieve it; we will ask Google to delete the matching records.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time, in Settings, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • Object and restrict: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Portability: receive the data you provided in a machine-readable format.
  • Complain: lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7.3 International transfers

Google processes analytics and advertising data on infrastructure that includes servers in the United States. Where data is transferred out of the EU/EEA or the UK, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the additional safeguards described in Google's own terms.

7.4 California (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. California residents have the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise them, email us at the address in section 11.

8. Retention & Security

  • On your device: kept until you delete the Game.
  • Analytics at Google: retained on Google's infrastructure for a maximum of 14 months and then deleted automatically.
  • Advertising data: retained by Google under its own policies.
  • Support emails: deleted once your request is resolved and no longer needed for our records.

All data in transit is protected with HTTPS/TLS. Data on your device sits in the app's private sandbox, protected by the operating system. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. This Website

The website you are reading does not use cookies, tracking pixels or advertising scripts, and it has no analytics. It stores a single value in your browser's local storage — your light/dark theme preference — which never leaves your browser.

The site is hosted on Vercel, and the pages load web fonts from Google Fonts and a 3D library from cdnjs. Those providers receive your IP address and browser user agent as a technical consequence of serving those files, in the same way as any other website request. The site itself collects nothing else, and there is no contact form — the email links open your own mail client.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we change what we collect — for example when the Android version launches, or if we ever enable personalised advertising — we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, publish the new version at this URL, and where the change widens the scope of collection we will ask for your consent again inside the Game.
